The distracting
mailbox was
removed and
replaced with a
vintage brass mail
slot.  A red color
was selected from
the bricks and used
to freshen the door.
The flower beds
were cleaned and
edged.  Windows
boxes and pots
werebrightened with
flowers.  Shingles
were used to cover
exposed flashing.

This house sold for
$8K over list & well
above area comps.

A black wash
was applied to
the ornate
mirror frame to
bring out the
details.

The green
chairs were
painted black
and a round
table added to
give a circular
element to the
room.

Beloved travel
photos were
framed and
displayed over
black ledges
with candles.
The dresser in the
entrance of the
room was
beautiful, but
made the room
appear smaller. An
accent color,
garnet, was added
throughout the
space

We angled the
bed into the corner
and tucked in the
bed covers to
expose the lovely
wood of the
antique frame.

The chandlier, only
$30, brought
drama to the
whole room as did
the large, bold
print.

The child's bed
was moved to its
own little nook on
the far left.  Both
beds now sport
matching garnet
bed covers.
